**Job Overview**
The role of the Finance team is to ensure proper maintenance of financial records, to provide timely financial information and accurate reporting and business information to the senior management team and respective funding agencies. It manages planning, budgeting and forecasting and promotes strong governance and control in the organization by ensuring compliance to the applicable Financial Guidelines and financial management processes and applicable accounting standards.
The incumbent will be part of Finance Team, mainly supporting the procurement function of NVPC. The position requires a multi-skilled person with strong administrative and operational skills.
**Core Duties & Responsibilities**
**Financial Operations**
**Procurement **_(Primary role)_**
- Manages the procurement processes and ensures that it complies with company policies, procedures and users’ and clients’ requirements.
- Monitor and manage deals to ensure that project objectives are maintained.
- Supports the teams in preparing Request for Quotation / Proposal, price negotiations, Purchase Orders (PO) and respond to queries from internal and external parties.
- Build, develop and manage relationships with vendors, leading to effective partnerships.
- Maintain and update vendor database.
**Giving.sg Finance**
- Support Giving.sg financial processes to ensure accurate and timely disbursements to non-profit organisations.
**Adhoc Duties**
- Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents
- Assist with monthly reporting, budgeting and audit.
- Provide support in other finance matters and any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- At least 3 years’ of working experience in a Finance position
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Proficient in SAGE accounting system is preferred.
- ACCA Level 1 or 2 (Good to have)
- Experience with procurement
- Able to perform accounting analysis and reporting to support decision-making purposes

- Meticulous, organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to collaborate with different types of colleagues and stakeholders
- Aptitude for problem solving and analysis
- Independent and has a positive work attitude
