**Your Job**
- Application of methods and procedures for electrical fault isolation and electrical failure analysis to support manufacturing process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed.
- Provides electrical and physical failure analysis support to determine root cause of failure in silicon devices
- Conducts root cause failure analysis and validate process changes effectiveness to eliminate the problems
- Utilize, and/or develop and implement enhance FA approaches, methods, and techniques that lead to identification of new failure mechanisms
- Maintain sophisticated FA equipment and evaluate on new techniques and developments to improve electrical failure analysis effectiveness and efficiency
- Analyzes reports and defective products to determine defects, failure mechanism, trends and root cause
- Experience in performing wafer level and package level sample preparations for subsequent fault isolation (package, polishing, substrate thinning, SEM inspection)
- Nanoprobing (AFP, EBIC/EBAC, Current imaging) and/or package failure analysis skillets and experience in (X-Ray, CSAM, decapsulation) to perform physical failure analysis (polishing, SEM inspection, FIB ) are highly favoured
- Experience on Bench testers (NI-PXI) operation and test program modification are highly valued.
- Familiar with semiconductor MOS devices and memory devices, eg. SRAM, MRAM, NVM.
- Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

**Required Qualification**
- PhD, Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering / Physics or Material Science.
- Relevant experience in failure analysis, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
