RoleWe are on the lookout for a Social Media Manager who will play a role in our team expansion. The most important thing we are looking for is someone who has a hungry mind that wants to try new things. Asks for forgiveness rather than for permission.This person would need to be able to collaborate with different stakeholders and teams and they must be self-starters - taking the initiative to lead, strategize and execute campaigns.Unlike other social media roles, this will require a high level of aptitude for working with creative production teams, as well as direct relations with clients, for fast turnaround campaigns.They must have good knowledge and hands-on experience with social media platforms and tools.Responsibilities
- Understands clients’ needs and wants and be responsible for day-to-day client management
- Establish relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and external vendors and work with them to execute campaigns
- Involve the right resources and/or cross-functional teams based on project requirements
- Lead and develop social/content strategies and plan campaigns that help brands connect to the right target audience
- Build a brand and storytell through creative ways on social media platforms ranging from (but not limited to) - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Collaborate with a team of Content Creators to develop highly engaging ideas, themes, campaigns, or angles for clients ensuring that the creative ideas ladders back to social strategy.
- Plan, manage and follow through on projects from end-to-end
- Keep up with social media trends and create content in response at speed
- Drive and review plans - timelines, budgets and scopes
- Manage relations with influencers or key opinion leaders on social media
- Analyse content performance and produce reports that shows measurable results with clear understanding to campaign goalsEducation / Professional
- Degree holderKnowledge & Experiences Required
- At least 3-4 years relevant experience (with a clear focus on social media content creation and video production)
- Strong interest in content marketing and content production
- Past experience with social media tools. If not, eagerness to learn and pick up new social media tools knowledge.
- Evidence of success in content creation and client relations
