Cryptocurrency Quantitative Researcher

Our client is looking for Quantitative Researchers with experience researching market making strategies in cryptocurrencies to join their newly launched digital assets group. This group will be using high-frequency trading approaches to make markets in cryptocurrencies. The group is part of a major new strategic expansion for our client, and they are building a top-notch team to address the opportunities in the digital assets space. This group will have strong backing and ample resources to achieve success in the space.
**Responsibilities**:
Research, develop, implement, test and optimise new cryptocurrency market making strategiesWork closely with the trading and development teams on the research and implementation of new strategies and signals, as well as optimizations to bothKeep abreast of new exchanges and products within the cryptocurrency space, especially new issues
**Requirements**:
Required:
3+ years experience developing profitable algorithmic and fully automated (blackbox) market making strategies in cryptocurrencies, especially altcoins, across several exchanges-
Experience researching both crypto spot and crypto derivatives strategiesExperience with new token issuesStrong coding skillsAbility to work both as part of a team and independentlyA bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical or quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Computational Finance, or similar)Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
