Senior Finance Analyst - Financial Reporting, 12 Months Contract

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Seeking experienced financial and accounting professional to join the Financial Management team. Primary focus is to assist the team lead in ensuring accurate and timely submission of all financial reporting. Other tasks include participating in the Fusion ERP implementation

MAIN DUTIES
- Oversee month end close processes, including reconciliations, journal preparation, and high-level financial analysis
- Contribute to the accurate and timely submission of financial reporting to Head Office and applicable regulators
- Analysis of financial information in the various statutory and regulatory reports.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors on audit requests
- Participating in projects, systems implementation and enhancements.

**Qualifications**

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4 years banking experiences with a focus on financial reporting
- Good team player with ability to demonstrate initiative and work well with mínimal supervision and within tight timelines
- Strong attention to details and good analytical and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Finance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Experiences in using SQL will be a plus
