Job Description: Lead Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect, reporting into our Co-Founder. As a Lead Solution Architect, you will lead the architectural design and development of our fintech products.

You will:

- Lead complex architecture decisioning and solutions for critical company projects such as launch of a new market
- Ensure software development is robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs
- Think deeply about technology and architecture choices in your domains, communicate trade-offs
- Set technical requirements and software design documentation standards
- Be the in-house, leading expert in the software requirement and critical domains, such as card transaction and ledger system design
- Develop and maintain system architecture design as well as solutions & technologies
- Align engineers across teams on key technical decisions by understanding complex domains and systems
- Collaborate and drive execution with stakeholders within and outside the engineering team for the design, decisioning, and implementation of organisation-wide platform, process and technology choices.
- Build deep product and business domain knowledge in all Youtrip/Youbiz productsEventually build out architecture team and function for the company

You have:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- More than 10 years proven experience in software development including at least 2 years of architecture design experienceStrong expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure software architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of card scheme (MasterCard or Visa), card issuance and ledger system
- Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and cloud technologies.
- Strong expertise and passion for well written documentations and communications
- Strong verbal communication and leadership skills
- Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven system, and cloud technologies
