**About our client**: Our client is the world's leading company in the oil&gas and chemical industry.

**About the role**:

- Develop, Maintain, and Review the SOPs with the O&M Managers and ensure employees' awareness and training in these SOPs
- Analyse operational and process deficiencies and make recommendations or changes in SOPs and Training Materials to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop seamless employee training management for O&M Teams, ensuring reliability and effectiveness to drive improved safety and quality of production.
- Audit / Inspection and establishment of High Standards and expectations on employees to reach operational excellence and safety awareness behaviors to ensure Operations are carried out safely and in an efficient manner at all times.
- Support the O&M Teams to develop BBSO and 6S and lead practices on-site.
- Identify safety and operational risks and proactively plan how they are managed.
- Lead or co-lead PSSR, MOC, HAZOP, and HAZID Studies.
- Identify in collaboration with the Middle Management Team and General Manager, efficiency opportunities and co-lead or support the facility improvement programs.
- Ensure the rollout of best practices QEHS and Operational techniques and adequate continuous improvement plan.
- Acting as a coach, training and developing the operational and middle management team to reach higher standards on risk management
- Lead the Plant QEHS development to Operational Excellence
- Develop and maintain a set of plant management “vision and goals” set by the GM

**About you**:

- Diploma or degree in Process Safety / Chemical Engineering
- WSQ Specialist Diploma in WSH & Graduate certificate in process safety or equivalent
- Certified ISO 45001 / 14001 / 9001 internal auditor
- Minimum 15 years of experience in chemical, refinery, power plant, merchant navy, or green business;
- High ethical standards at the workplace;
- High emotional intelligence;
- Believe in Vision Zero;
- Results oriented individual with robust process safety management abilities;
- Able to work in a team to achieve departmental goal of lean production and operational excellence
