Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Process Safety Specialist to lead our process safety initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing process safety strategies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement process safety strategies to minimize risks associated with hazardous processes
  • Conduct hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, layer of protection analysis (LOPA), and other risk assessment methodologies to identify potential hazards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process safety procedures and guidelines
  • Review and update process safety documentation, including HAZOP reports, LOPA studies, and other relevant documents
  • Provide training and guidance to operations personnel on process safety practices and procedures
  • Participate in incident investigations and provide expertise on process safety-related issues
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in process safety engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective process safety strategies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations
