**About Our Client**:
Our client is a leading Japanese MNC with a global network creating solutions of technologies in Automotive sector. The organization has well-established market presence and boasts a portfolio of well-known brands in the field.
- Preparation of monthly financial close and reporting for selected APAC region entities
- Responsible for preparing a full sets of account for closing of monthly and annual financial statements
- Preparing forecasting and budgeting accordance to corporate guidelines
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support intercompany activities
- Responsible in the preparation of financial information for external audits and correspond directly with external auditors to provide requested schedules and support
- Support and ensure compliance with all statutory finance and tax filing requirements
- Liaise with statutory bodies, banks, and other third-party business partners
- Assist in ERP implementation, set-up, and on-going maintenance.
- Proactive in identifying process inefficiencies and offer suggestions for improvements
- Carry out and assume any other duties or responsibilities eg. fixed asset and inventory checks

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in book keeping and have knowledge on financial statements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business/Economics
- Well-versed in MS Office with advanced MS Excel skills
- Can-do attitude, driven, independent in a lean team environment
- Able to learn and adapt to new process flows and software technologies quickly
- Individuals with spoken/reading ability in japanese language will be beneficial due to interaction with senior management from Japan
- Individuals with systems implementation experience will be beneficial
