In this regional role spanning AMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa), you will play a critical role in developing talent acquisition strategies to support current and future business needs. This is a strategic position in the organization where you will partner with HR/Talent Acquisition teams in each sub-region and business leaders across functions, as needed, to be able to assess and anticipate business needs for talent acquisition and drive centralized changes and initiatives accordingly.
Alongside the regional responsibility for strategic initiatives, you will also be responsible for end-to-end talent acquisition for one of the sub-regions, MEISA (Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa), leading a team there for recruiting activities.
Work Location: Singapore or Mumbai, India
**Key responsibilities**:
- Manage the design/ architecture of region-wide talent acquisition strategies and tools in support of winning the best talent and building talent pipeline. This includes but not limited to:
- Explore use of technology to better penetrate the market, support efficiencies and user experience
- Analyse labor market intelligence to influence business decisions
- Develop framework for attraction and sourcing strategies
- Assess and implement fit-for-purpose talent assessment and selection solutions
- Work closely with People Analytics team to develop and monitor talent acquisition Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the region
- Lead the adoption of redefined employee value proposition (EVP) and overall employer branding strategy to position the organization in the market as an employer of choice
- Own and manage end-to-end talent acquisition for MEISA sub-region, including but not limited to:
- Align recruitment programs and efforts by leveraging social media platforms and referral programs to connect and recruit potential talents for the organization
- Drive a shift from reactive recruitment to build a robust talent pipeline and engaged talent community
- Manage high-volume recruitment and specialized talent segments in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and recruitment partners
- Drive use of data and analytics to generate valuable insights and enhance speed and quality of talent acquisition and workforce planning
- Drive team performance through data and building right competencies and skills
**To be successful in this position, you will need**:
- Related experience in a management position, preferably in multinational organizations in regional capacity and with knowledge of India talent and recruitment landscape
- Team management experience
- Ability to lead and communicate across cultures and geographies
- Recruiting technical acumen
- Ability to collaborate and work in a network team with other HR and non-HR colleagues
- To be comfortable in a changing environment with competing priorities, making planning and organization skills, prioritization and time management critical
- Data judgment
- Proficiency in English
- Bachelor’s degree or above in any discipline
