**Director, Broking**

This is a great opportunity to lead and manage a team in broking functions, identify opportunities in improving efficiencies and deliverables within the team and implementing Integrated broking model that drive a consistent approach on Broking Strategies, Standardization and Effective RFQ Delivery - Client RFQs/Remarketing.

The role reports to the CBO, Health Solutions, and is to partner with the **Client Service team and Client Relationship teams** collaboratively and to focus on delivering the best business results and initiatives to the clients as one Aon United.

The job incumbent is also actively seeking out market intelligence to build a robust and credible knowledge-based carrier and/or supply chain management to establish a long term and sustainable growth plans.

Strong interpersonal skills as collaboration is key across all internal organizational levels and external vendors.

**What the day will look like**
- Leading and managing the Broking team in Broking Functions
- Implement Integrated broking model that drive a consistent approach on Broking Strategies, Standardization and Effective RFQ Delivery - Client RFQs/Remarketing
- Understand, adhere and to pursue the organization’s visions, goals and personal KPIs and directives actively to ensure they are met.
- Handle portfolio of clients and deliver expected broking outcomes and financial performance of the portfolio and new business acquisition with the team
- Understand and stay current on each client’s business situation and strategy with close collaboration with the Client Service team and Client Relationship teams in order to deliver the broking solutions that matters.
- For Go to Market : RFQ activities for the teams involving and not limited to
- Involved in pre and post renewal discussions with Clients and Account Managers
- Work independently and with initiative, identifies and analyzes client exposures and determines which markets to utilize, ensuring thorough evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace.
- Lead negotiations for clients with the markets by providing RFP expertise, technical knowledge and advisory, market knowledge etc and preparation of Comparison Reports
- Achieve business outcomes and drive governance around initiatives relating to enhancement of client deliverables, client profitability and internal productivity

Drive adoption and utilization of Aon broking platforms in RFQs/Remarketing
- Utilisation of Aon Broking Technologies for governance of renewal, go to market and placement activities
- Set Strategic Renewal expectations and goals with the Carriers
- Post renewal process functions (Policy Delivery and Policy Checks) in collaboration with Aon’s Center of Excellence
- Develop and maintain strong and collaborative relationship with Carriers to achieve world class broking outcomes for Clients
- Strategic engagement, planning and execution with carriers focusing on growth and retention
- Partner with the Client Service team and Client Relationship teams, collaboratively and to focus on delivering the best business results and initiatives to the clients as one Aon United.
- Serves as key team member to drive higher operational efficiencies, productivity including, standardisation and strengthening current business processes which are to be supported by Aon India CoE Team.
- Act as primary contact in broking team for providing specialist advice to clients and Aon Health Solutions colleagues
- Identifying opportunities for streamlining and improving system and business processes within Broking
- Understanding business and broking Strategies and translating them into tactical plans
- Accountable for broking team’s adoption and utilisation of broking strategies
- Responsible for financial and non-financial KPI of the broking team to meet organisational goals and needs
- Develop Talent and skills within teams to meet needs of the organisation and succession planning
- Any additional duties that may be allocated

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Degree or Diploma from a recognised university or Polytechnic
- Regulatory requirements for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS (preferred)
- Min 5 years in the insurance Industry within Healt
