Our Crew members are the lifeblood of SSP. You are on the front line, greeting customers, taking orders and preparing food according to SOP, upholding each of our brands' standards. You'll have the opportunity to recommend products, promote food items, and interact with new and repeat guests in the ever-dynamic airport environment.
You will have opportunities to learn various stations within the brand. With some training and time, you will also be able to cross-train across brands, gaining exposure to a wide range of F&B concepts.

Our Brands: Ya Kun, Jamie's Deli, Archipelago Brewery, Mango Tree, Tap & Brew, Old Town White Coffee, Tai Cheong Bakery, Matchaya, Ritazza, NamNam, Saboten, Jones the Grocer
- Assist the Multi-Unit Chef to oversee the kitchen operations of 2 units
- Advance skills and knowledge in the food preparation and cooking of menu items across all work stations within the kitchen
- Ensure high standards of food quality and food presentation
- Responsible for the training and guiding of new staff across all work stations within the kitchen
- To identify and forecast the required food items weekly
- To liaise and place orders with suppliers independently
- To allocate work duties and roster manpower within budgeted hours
- Review and ensure that the team maintains high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Team Management
- Ensures induction processes well supported within stations so that all new Team Members receive proper induction.
- Review objectives and performance with subordinates.
- Ensures teams comply with SSP people related policies and procedures.
- Holds regular team meetings and briefings to cascade business developments and request feedback
Operational Management
- Fully understands and complies with all statutory requirements (e.g. Licensing, Risk Assessments, H&S; Fire awareness. Accident reporting, Manual handling, Risk Assessments, Unit cleaning schedules etc)
- Understands the crisis management process (e.g. local station evacuation procedures)
- Actively manages all Maintenance issues - reporting, timely follow-up, escalation
- Ensures Supervisors/ senior staff managing shifts have been appropriately trained
Brand Integrity and Product Management
- Understands fully and deliver expected quality in all brand standards (e.g. Critical standards/product knowledge/planograms and display principles etc)
- Reviews the accurate implementation of production planning to drive down waste costs (where applicable)
- Understands measures and drives for excellence in all brand audits internal and external (e.g. CCA)
- Supports the effective implementation of all new promotions, marketing activity and product launches to time and quality standards.
