McGagh Communications provides marketing services to some of the highest profile in the IT field. We are seeking a marketing and events manager that will manage the MARCOM and events calendar of our clients, while achieving our clients’ outreach and branding goals, along with their lead generation activities via their product events.

**Key job responsibilities**
- Manage event marketing goals and experience for clients and partners
- Manage event budget, results tracking and analysis, and overall event timeline
- Influence and align event strategies and plans with business priorities across stakeholder groups, including interfacing directly with leadership and business/sales teams.
- Manage end to end planning and execution of events with operational and logístical excellence; build processes for repeatable and scalable event activities
- Develop and execute event marketing plans that achieves marketing and shared goals (registrations and attendees, event views, sponsorship etc)
- Proactive approach to handling any challenges that might arise and ability to quickly troubleshoot any problems that should arise on the event day
- Collaborative attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Capable of confidently using experience and data to assess and recommend the best course of action even in ambiguous situations
- A self-starter who can take general direction and produce specific results
- Project management experience
- Good oral and written communication skills

**Position Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in event management with increasing levels of responsibilities
- Proved record of building and executing high-impact events
- An ambitious self-starter with excellent follow-through skills to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast and dynamic environment.
- Skilled negotiator with proven experience in finding creative ways to do more with less and staying within budget
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable to clearly present ideas to a wide audience
- Stay abreast of the latest event tools and trends; be open to new ideas and drive innovation

**Salary**: $3,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
