**What the role is**
- You will be part of a team to perform a wide range of finance operations in WSG to ensure that the AR/AP/GL/FA operate are in compliance with legislative requirements and organisation policies.

**What you will be working on**
- This role includes but is not limited to the following areas:

- Manage the annual statutory audit and undertake preparation of annual accounts/ financial reports/audit schedules to ensure compliance with the Statutory Board Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and Ministry of Finance (MOF) guidelines;
- Prepare other financial reports for the mandatory submission to other public agencies;
- Provide functional and administrative supervision of all accounting control activities such as WSG’s debtors and/or creditors, monitoring funds flow, overseeing grant disbursements, etc;
- Manage the budget of Corporate Services Division;
- Maintain proper accounts for fixed assets;
- Monitor the cash flow requirement and the Centralised Liquidity Fund performance;
- Attend to issues encountered by the outsourced service providers and provide guidance to them;
- Design and develop financial analysis to detect any anomalies on financial transactions;
- Design and develop dashboard for reporting to management;
- Prepare management reports and on a timely basis;
- Attend to divisions' users queries on Workday as well as any other financial matters;
- Explore the use of RPA to streamline the existing work processes; and - Participate in Finance related and cross division projects.

**What we are looking for**
- Requirements:

- At least 8 years relevant experience in the fields of finance and accounting with 3 years in a managerial position - A recognised Degree majoring in Accountancy - Deep understanding of accounting and financial standards and policies - Understanding of Statutory Board Financial Reporting Standards and MOF guidelines - Experience and competent in Workday software will be an added advantage. - Highly motivated individual, resourceful and able to multi-task and work independently in a fast pace environment and yet a good team player All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted or not within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting
