IDC is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful individual for a Senior Research Manager focusing on sustainability and its implications for business and IT users based in Singapore. We are seeking a results-oriented, analytical individual with at least 5 years of relevant background in sustainability practice in areas such as green technology adoption, ESG reporting and compliance, sustainability audit and compliance, waste management, carbon or energy management and compliance, circular economy or cradle to cradle thinking. Additional experience in areas such as market research, consulting, journalism, marketing, and/or industry experience with IT vendors would be helpful.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Supporting and creating research content such as reports, white papers, infographics, infobriefs, videos, etc relating to Sustainability market in Asia Pacific.
- Coordinating sustainability-related research activities in region and with global analysts
- Interviewing technology vendors/buyers about their sustainability strategy, products and services
- Business development for sustainability consulting projects and client events
- Gathering information regarding ESG and green technologies use from vendors and end users
- Presenting on sustainability topics either online or in person

He/ she will also be driving primary research with vendors and industry experts to acquire market insights in Asia Pacific, including partnering research efforts with relevant country analysts in the local IDC offices. This person will need to possess good presentation, communication and writing skills, able to interact with mid
- to top-level executives, and be eager to develop a good understanding of the current and emerging sustainability products/services and IT technologies, and their impact on markets in Asia Pacific.
