The key job responsibilities of the Manager / Senior Manager for SRTT CID include the following:
Manages the administration of research processes
Secretariat duties for the SRTT Central Initiative
Executing policies and processes pertaining to the administration of SRTT Central Initiative
Communication of the SRTT operating framework to the various stakeholders
Liaising with SRTT Programme Director, Scientific Programme Manager, Central Initiative Administration (CIA) and other stakeholders on pre and post award matters.
Works closely with cross-functional units to ensure operational strategies are implemented and sustained (eg setup of SRTT)
Budgeting of SRTT funds and monitoring of the budget utilisation of the various SRTTs
Regularly reviewing progress of SRTT Programmes to ensure that KPIs, milestones and budget utilisation etc are on track
Building excellence in research management through the development, refinement and implementation of best practices, within A*STAR.
Ad hoc support as required
**Job Requirements**:
Good Tertiary Degree with good knowledge of STEM discipline
Minimally 2 years of relevant work experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, including research leaders
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Self-starter mindset, resourceful and driven, to deliver results under tight timelines
Meticulous, well-organised and detail oriented, and able to multi-task
Experience in data analytics eg PowerBI will be an advantage
