**Senior Officer / Assistant Head Strategic Planning, Innovation & Enterprise**

Innovation & Enterprise Division oversees the innovation and enterprise aspects of research capabilities within A*STAR’s research units, and actively promotes the translation of intellectual property.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join the Strategic Planning Team in the division.

You will coordinate initiatives with A*STAR’s management, corporate group, research entities, industry and National Research Platforms. In addition, you will interact with other public agencies as well as academia and industry. The role will provide a unique perspective of the strategic priorities of the organisation. We take a deep interest in developing our team and there will be opportunities to grow into new roles within the wider A*STAR community, public sector and even the industry.

You should have a passion and a strong drive for investments in R&D activities that deliver good economic and societal outcomes. You are proactive and self-motivated, results-oriented, able to work independently and in a team setting, and possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

**Responsibilities**
- Translate strategies to key action plans and funding initiatives to achieve desired outcomes
- Support A*STAR senior management at key meeting platforms and engagements with companies and related government agencies
- Develop innovation & enterprise policies / guidelines to support the mission and objectives of A*STAR
- Set, monitor and report performance and tracking indicators for the division
- Support the leadership on special assignments and projects

**Job Requirements**
- Degree in Engineering/Science preferred.
- At least 3 years of working experience in either research, grant administration, strategic/corporate planning or relevant roles
- Excellent team player who is good at problem solving
- Good organisation acumen; excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders
- Dynamic and self-motivated individual who is a system thinker
- Meticulous, well-organised, detailed-oriented
