Our team in the Middle East is looking for a Social Media Manager for a seconded role in Saudi Arabia. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the overall Social Media strategy and development. The role directly/indirectly covers various Social Media functions such as Content Development, Brand/Tactical Campaigns, Insights & Analytics, Paid Media, Social Media Listening and Community Management.

Here's what you'll be doing:

- Work closely with various stakeholders across the business units including the marketing teams to achieve both Brand and Commercial objectives using various Social Media channels.
- Build, enhance and protect the online reputation of this monumental project.
- Develop strategic relationships with key industry players and Media partners to ensure the project is running an excellent Social Media operation following the latest trends and the industry’s best practices.
- Build collaborative and cross-functional relationships with various stakeholders and ensure they leverage Social Media to amplify their key messages.
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing, investor team and Digital team to achieve the projects’ commercial objectives through tactical and highly targeted Social Media campaigns.
- Ensure an Always-On strategy consisting of Hub and Hygiene content.
- Ensure Social Media is effectively integrated into all international, domestic, and business outbound Marketing activities.
- Work closely with the project’s Communications Team to ensure all outbound activities and announcements are covered on Social Media in a timely manner.
- Own the strategic relationship with Social Media, creative and media agencies as well as AdTech partners.
- Oversee the development of in-house and outsourced creative materials.
- Define and optimize the overall scope of work for Social Media agency partners as well as other project-specific agencies and production houses.
- Define the scope of work for different Social Media software/technology companies and solutions.
- Deeply understand each campaign’s objectives, define user journeys, and map-out content that helps achieve those objectives.
- Build and continuously optimize the Social Team’s structure, roles, and responsibilities in-line with the project’s requirements at different phases.
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of B2B and consumer experience in Digital/Social Media within the Development marketing or Manufacturing industries or FMCG space.
- Have a proven track record in developing and executing Social Media Strategies.
- Bring to the table an extensive experience in B2B marketing.
- Have a proven track record in agency management and internal stakeholder engagement.
- Have an excellent command and grasp of the English language (Arabic, Japanese or Chinese is a plus).
- Have prior experience working within the GCC, and worked in a fast paced, highly diverse / multi-cultural environment.
