PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for driving Plan-to-Forecast processes and partnering assigned Business Units in South East Asia in delivering near term performance commitments and long term performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive Plan-To-Forecast processes (ASR, Budget, Projections, Mid-Month Forecasts) including developing and reviewing assumptions, reviewing targets and supporting plans, preparing and coordinating submissions etc.
2. Monitor, analyze, comment and make recommendations on monthly/quarterly/yearly actual financial performance vs Budget/Projection/Prior Year and on performance trends.
3.Attend and support monthly SIOP process.
4.Track risks and opportunities at an overall, by business and by country levels. Engage and follow through with SEA Business Directors and Country Business Leaders to capture additional opportunities, mitigate risks and develop contingency plans.
5. Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financial and other reports to Greater Asia and Corporate including adhoc requests during Actual/Projection/ASR/Budget/Mid-Month Forecast.
6. Provide analytics and decision support to SEA Business Directors in monthly performance and Projection/ASR/Budget reviews with Greater Asia and Country Business Leaders.
7. Provide analytics and decision support to SEA Business Directors and Country Business Leaders on strategic and operational initiatives (including RRP proposals, Retail Promotions etc).
8. Support Greater Asia Finance initiatives, M&A integration, SEA Country and SEA Finance initiatives.

- Interact with SEA Business Directors, SEA SCM Team, SEA Functional Leaders, Commercial Compliance, Finance Center of Excellence, Finance Shared Service Center, Customer Service Shared Service Center, Greater Asia Business Vice Presidents, Greater Asia Finance Team.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Education & Qualification:_
- Degree holder in Accountancy
- CPA/CA/CMA/CGMA or other equivalent professional accountancy qualification.
- Relevant Experience, Knowledge & Skills_:
- Minimum 8-10 years of financial accounting & controllership and/or financial planning & analysis experience
- Experience in multi-national medical device, pharma and/or healthcare industries
- Experience in working with South East Asia countries
- Well-versed in US GAAP
- Strong business acumen
- Strong communication skills
- Confident in interacting with senior SEA management, Greater Asia counterparts and Greater Asia senior management
- Team player
- Hands-on and ability to work independently
- Willing to work long hours during peak periods
- Ability to deliver results within tight deadlines
- Detailed and meticulous
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Familiar with SAP, BPC and consolidation processes would be advantageous
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
