National Gallery Singapore is a leading visual arts institution which oversees the world’s largest public collection of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Interface between curatorial, audience engagement and operation departments for audio, visual and lighting requirements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders for effective delivery of audio, visual and lighting operations, events, festivals and exhibitions.
- Adhere to work processes and SOPs relating to the daily operations of the audio visual and lighting department.
- Understand exhibition logistics, procedures and participate in the exhibition installation and uninstallation process.
- Understand event logistics, procedures and participate in the design, operation and uninstallation process.
- Provide hands on technical support to end-users.
- Carry out and troubleshoot audio, visual and lighting related processes to ensure smooth interfacing between various equipment.
- Lead the maintenance of audio, visual and lighting equipment with proper administrative follow-ups.
- Lead the scheduling of casual technicians and maintenance contractors.
- Support the audio, visual and lighting team for excellent service delivery.
- Assist in the inventory of audio, visual & lighting equipment.
- Assist in the sourcing of equipment replacements and upgrades when required.
- Support SVAC initiatives when required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Relevant Qualifications
- Must have experience with installing and operating various light fixtures and control systems.
- Must have skilled knowledge of audio-visual equipment, video and teleconferencing.
- Must have skilled knowledge of computers and presentation software.
- The ability to work independently, identifying resources and make independent decisions.
- Strong oral communication skills.
- Ability and interest in learning technology related skills.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexible hours for availability (including evenings and weekends).
- Must be able to work long hours during exhibition and event installations.
- Positive customer-oriented attitude and professional image.
