DepartmentOperations- LevelExperienced (Team Lead)- LocationSingaporeThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. - Responsible for Shopee Xpress Singapore’s (SPX) Expansion Plan and Product Management.
- Define a vision for the product. Focus on identifying our users and business problems and align priority across the organization. Be involved in the strategy, road map, and feature definition of a product
- Conduct market intelligence to inform business and developers
- Effectively delegate user acceptance tests (UATs). Leverage the process to educate users on upcoming changes and timeline to avoid operational disruption.
- Spearhead SPX operations expansion plans with the objectives of successfully launching new warehouses/ hubs, new network, services and setting them up for scale
- Plan and manage SPX expansion projects, including feasibility analysis and financial modeling, warehouse/ hub layout planning, system and equipment procurement and set-up, physical office renovation, and any other Additional & Alteration (A&A) works.
- Conduct site visit for hubs to gather information, negotiate, and finalize contracts
- Prepare detailed plans to track, monitor and report project development and performance of warehouses/hubs to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively to all levels of the company, both in writing and in meetings

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in setting up new operations or project management
- Self Starter and possess strong business acumen, planning and strategy
- Ability to build from scratch, operate resourcefully and independently with urgency.
- Analytical in examining and identifying relevant information, and translating these insights into clear operational plans.
- Relevant professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, PMP will be an added advantage.
- Keen eye for detail and an exceptionally high bar for accuracy and quality.
- Willingness to travel around Singapore to identify new sites for operations.
