The Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time position, reporting to the CEO. You will be required to don relevant PPE and be exposed to brownfield working conditions (i.e. work at heights, hot/cold temperatures, loud noises, heavy lifting).

The QA/AC manager will be responsible for oversight of the overall Food Safety/Quality performance and compliance obligations of the two Scaleup Bio facilities along Singapore. Other responsibilities include the development of Food Safety and Quality training programs for facility personnel and contractors as well as continual improvement of the facility's Food Safety Management System. This position is responsible for performing various tasks to support the plant wide Food Safety/Quality which include: maintaining records for regulatory compliance, implementation of Food Safety and Quality standards, acting as a resource for quality production, lab, maintenance departments and staff. The Quality Assurance Manager supervises the following employees: Junior QA/QC Manager, Lab Microbiologist and Lab Technician.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Take lead in the implementation of food safety and quality systems (as defined by GFSI/FAMI-QS standards), actively participate in food safety efforts and ensure all activities conform to good manufacturing practices.
- Champion Safety and Environmental programs in the facility and promote a safe, environmentally compliant workplace.
- Manage, plan, implement, and continuously improve the Food Safety/Quality programs in the Scaleup Bio facilities.
- Serve as the Food Safety Team Leader and is actively involved in all HACCP Plans.
- Oversee planning and compliance of GMP/Sanitization and pest control programs at the Scaleup Bio facilities.
- Provide support and guidance for day to day decision making regarding quality/food safety impact on products.
- Interact with JV Board, Quality and Food Safety groups and ensure stakeholders are provided necessary information i.e.: customer complaint investigation and response, supplier questionnaires, audits, quality investigations etc.
- Maintain and encourage a safe working environment and support safety programs.
- Support plant training activities regarding Quality Food/ Feed Safety education.
- Interface with all customers for technology transfer as related to both Scaleup Bio lab.
- Responsible for ensuring products meet defined requirements and insures proper disposition of nonconforming products.
- Responsible for obtaining disposition of Food Safety Related product parameters, microbiological concerns, and residual oxidant.
- Responsible for management of the Supplier Programs in the plant including approvals, complaints rejections and feedback.
- Provide auditing support for supplier.

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related discipline such as chemistry, biology or microbiology is preferred.
- 5+ year’s Quality Management experience in a Food manufacturing environment.
- HACCP and PCQI certified. Food Safety and Quality certification is also preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to provide guidance and feedback.
- Results driven to provide support to achieve the goals established by JV Board of Scaleup Bio.
- Demonstrate experience of effective leadership working closely with SFA, MOM and other agencies or vendors.
- Hands on management style and solid communication ability.
- Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement.
- Able to perform incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- The ability to provide motivation to the direct reports and demonstrate leadership qualities to all plant personnel.

**Salary**: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
