[What the role is]
The ISEAS - Yusof Ishak Institute is a leading research centre dedicated to the study of socio-political, security and economic trends and developments in Southeast Asia and its wider geostrategic and economic development.
Applications are invited for:
Assistant Manager, Publishing Admin & Marketing (2-Year Contract)

This role will be a key member of the ISEAS Publishing Division and will contribute strategically to the sustenance, continuity, and relevance of the dissemination of cutting-edge scholarships to the local and global research community in the area of Southeast Asian Studies.

[What you will be working on]

Key Responsibilities include:

- Maintains and updates central filing system and enable quick and organised retrieval of information in the division.
- Take a leading role to prepare and ensure smooth implementation of new digital record management system.
- Main point of contact for both internal and external customers (i.e. researchers, authors, co-publishing partners, vendors etc.)
- Follow up on requests for use of ISEAS copyrighted materials by external parties on consultation with Director, Publishing. These include assisting with the drafting of permission letters and licensing agreements with clearance from Director, Publishing before sending over to the other parties.
- Sourcing and participation in relevant local and overseas conferences/book fairs to promote ISEAS publications.
- Working closely with ISEAS Communication Division, authors and distributors on marketing campaigns/book launches/book displays, both online and offline, to strengthen the visibility of ISEAS books. Analyse data and utilise the latest in-trends marketing tools to achieve maximum results.
- To cultivate and maintain existing authors’ relationship with ISEAS Publishing.
- Procurement related duties such as preparation of AORs/related documents for ITQs.
- Contact potential reviewers and journals to publicise and arrange for newly published books to be sent for review.
- Maintain ISEAS Publishing’s website by updating new book information, book reviews to engage existing and new customers.
- Other duties as assigned by Director, Publishing.

[What we are looking for]

**Requirements**:

- Background in business administration/communications/Arts & Social Sciences. Experience in publishing/marketing will be an advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in office administration/events/marketing will be necessary.
- Savvy with social media marketing and comfortable with handling and presenting data.
- A dynamic and highly driven individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Meticulous, resourceful, able to multi-task.
