Editorial Assistant .
Job Description
As an
Editorial Assistant , you will support the editorial team in preparing and producing educational materials across subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science and more. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to begin a career in publishing and content development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in editing and proofreading manuscripts for accuracy, clarity and consistency
Coordinate with editors, authors, and designers to prepare content for publication
Help check formatting, layout and illustrations for accuracy and quality
Manage content tracking and maintain version control across different stages of production
Support the development of both print and digital materials
Perform administrative and project-related tasks as required
Requirements:
A diploma or degree in any discipline; Humanities, Education or related fields are a plus
Good command of written English and strong attention to detail
Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Word and basic formatting functions
A team player who communicates clearly and meets deadlines
Candidates with editorial internships or project experience will be considered favourably
On-the-job training will be provided
