Seeking a dynamic, hard-working and enthusiastic server for front of house at a busy fun wine bar. You must work well in a team, we are a small group looking to grow. An ability to show real hospitality and take care of our customers is a key requirement. Wine knowledge would be a real bonus but we are happy to train. Having a passion to learn is a must.

**Job Desciption**:

- Provide efficient and positively memorable sales service to our customers;
- Extensive wine knowledge
- He/She is responsible for advising and recommending to patrons according to their personal wine needs, i.e taste, food and wine pairing, the occasion or the budget.
- He/She will also be responsible for selecting wines, creating drink lists and managing stock.
- He/She builds and maintains the wine list according to the needs of the establishment.
- He/She is also responsible for training on wine and other beverages by conducting wine tastings.
- Administer purchasing and receiving procedures.
- Analyse service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and motivate the team members through training of wine knowledge.
- Identify and establish internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Lead team to implement positive developments.
- Manage compliance with food and beverage hygiene policies and procedures.
- Manage cost and quality controls.
- Manage guest service.
- Manage wine the planning and execution of purchases.
- Prepare and serve wine.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification as a sommelier or a degree in hospitality is beneficial.
- Previous experience as a sommelier, wine steward, or in a hospitality role.
- Extensive knowledge on wines and regions of the different types.
- Knowledge of vineyards and wineries that the wine bar represents.
- Master the understanding of the wine making process.
