**What the day will look like**
- Responsible for placement of marine treaty business independently and/or with team members.
- Pre / post renewal preparations: risk analysis, contacting reinsurers, negotiations and completing renewal process.
- Build on knowledge of reinsurance market, marine knowledge and build on network of reinsurance contacts to arrange suitable reinsurance policies and arrange/tender cover.
- Work on team projects and initiatives.
- Act in the interest of the Clients.
- To be involved in providing professional advice to Clients and the ceding office.
- Work with respective Relationship Manager and other Brokers / teams for renewals / RFPs.
- Formulate renewal strategy and offer technical advice where needed.
- Organising and coordinate market events to promote Aon Reinsurance Solutions Marine Treaty brand.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- At least 3 years of Marine insurance / reinsurance experience either in broking or underwriting or claims
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, within a team, as well as across multiple functions and departments
- Outgoing and service-oriented with good networking and relationship building skills
- Analytical, meticulous and pro-active
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
