Wavemaker Social and Content Executive

**Overview of job**

Wavemaker is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and is a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally.

Wavemaker is currently looking for a Social Media & Content Executive to join the Social Media and Content Marketing Team. Our team is rapidly growing, so you should be comfortable (and flourish) in a deeply dynamic environment. We are looking for a team player who has a passion for learning about the social and content landscape, and is able to handle stressful situations and deadlines calmly.

What your day job looks like at Wavemaker**:

- Build trusted, meaningful relationships with clients, as well as relevant internal & external stakeholders
- Respond to / follow up on clients campaign briefs and requests received, working alongside the team to execute.
- Plan and execute monthly social media content calendars inclusive of ideation, copywriting, media planning, post scheduling and community management.
- Perform social media analytics reporting on a monthly and per-campaign basis.
- Participate in the development of key social media strategies for existing clients and new business pitches.
**What you’ll bring**:

- Diploma/Degree in any communications related field
- Media/digital/marketing agency experience is preferred
- Fluent in English
- Good written and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with mínimal supervision
- Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with passion and a can-do attitude
- Experience in writing in a second language is a plus
