Under Singtel Group Risk Management, the Risk Strategy & Assurance pillar is mandated to assist Singtel in accomplishing its business objectives by adopting a systematic and disciplined approach to Risk & assurance programs.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Risk Strategy & Assurance directly, the role holder will be supporting the reinvigoration and upskilling of the overall risk management culture and processes for the group across business units. The role includes leading or supporting group-wide initiatives and partnering with the business directly to ensure programs are managed effectively via incorporation into the respective business processes.

The role is expected to work in a team or independently on the following:

- Enhance risk management culture, deliver step-change in risk monitoring capabilities, goal alignment and execution to deliver immediate and long-term goals and objectives.
- Implement the risk policies and standards and ensure effective implementation across Business units and functions.
- Contribute to implementing an Enterprise Risk Management system by providing inputs such as risk profiling, practice guidance, quality monitoring dashboards, and risk escalation principles.
- Develop/Update appropriate materials, facilitate and conduct training, workshops, and webinars for internal stakeholders to educate and drive awareness of various Risk Program
- Facilitate the preparation/update of risk registers and risk reports to summarise the key risks and mitigations. The process entails identifying and assessing risk areas where gaps exist in policies or procedures and implementing appropriate mitigation plans.
- Support ad-hoc projects such as Partnering with stakeholders on scenario planning exercises and validating risk and measurement models.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5-8 years of risk management, consulting, auditing or IT project management work experience
- Experience in working in challenging business environment with proven capabilities in organizing, summarizing and presenting complex information
- Experience in reviewing commercial contracts and good understanding of the legality of contract terms
- Advanced knowledge of risk management and control concepts, leading risk management practices and standards (e.g. ISO 31000, COSO)
- Good engagement skills. Good communication (oral, written) and presentation skills and proven track record in interacting with all levels of management
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - independent and objective
- In-depth understanding of the telecommunications / ICT and digital industry and the risks faced by the Singtel Group and its businesses. These include the technology risks, competition and transformation developments in the telecommunications / ICT/ digital industry, environmental risks, regulatory risks, cyber security risks, etc.
