**Role purpose**
- Lead the team to deliver operational targets meeting all HSEQ and cost requirements.
- Deliver agreed production objectives according to the planned production schedule.
- Ensure timely reporting and analysis of production performance like OEE, Yield report, daily SAP posting, Shift report, end of shift checklist, inventory count, etc to identify the gap or opportunity to improve.
- Build a strong communication network within and across other functions
- Ensure implementation of the OJT program for the operational team and maintain all records according to SOP.
- Ensure the first level of investigations to prevent from reoccurrence of issues (Application of the OpEx technics like Ishikawa and 5 whys)
- Ensure all processes and operations are documented in terms of SOP/special instructions and RA.
- Operations of material handling equipment (stacker, forklift, etc.)
- Basic troubleshooting of the equipment.
- Polyvalent on all positions in production (DCS as well as powder charging)
- Issue permits to work for all interventions on the site
- Ensure training/coaching of the production staff to maintain consistency with Company HSEQ Policy and Standards
- Actively participate and support the site’s initiatives/improvement projects
- Contribute towards the site's achievement of Syngenta's Health, Safety & Environment, and Quality standards including ISOs. This involves a sound understanding of the HSEQ Management system
- Ensure and lead 5S implementation to maintain a good level of cleanliness, and labeling of the area.

**Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities**
- Diploma in chemical/manufacturing
- 2-3 years experience as a senior operator in the manufacturing of chemical, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries.
- Basic comprehension of chemical and mechanical process
- Safety data sheet understanding
- Risk understanding
- Standard Operating Procedure understanding
- P&ID understanding
- Experience in the Chemical industry and Filling & Packing Operations

- Self-driven and self-motivated personality
- Knowledge of computers, specially gSAP & MS office
- Production Control System (DCS and PLC)
