First Degree Global Asset Management is a Singapore-licensed fund manager that operates a platform managing mutual funds across public and private asset classes

**Position Summary**:
The Fund Operations Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the day-to-day operations for funds managed by First Degree, including fund administration, fund accounting, investor onboarding and trade monitoring and settlement. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-growing environment, contributing to both the operational and organizational aspects of our business.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

Operations:

- Monitor and support the day-to-day operational of our funds, including handling trade settlements, daily NAV reviews, investor onboarding, subscriptions and redemptions, year-end fund processes, auditor liaison, overseeing tax reporting and legal and compliance filings for funds
- Work closely with the fund administrators of our funds to ensure fund accounting and administration matters are undertaken in a timely and complete manner
- Assist in the onboarding of our funds onto external trading platforms
- Develop and maintain client relationships through meeting client requests and resolving client inquiries
- Liaise with prime brokers, fund administrators, auditors, external counsels and technology vendors in relation to operational issues

Monitoring and Compliance:

- Monitor and ensure compliance by our funds with investment guidelines and restrictions
- Participate in the ongoing review of new and existing investors for compliance with AML/CFT regulations

**Educational Qualification**
- Degree in accounting, business, finance or a related discipline

**Experience and Skills**
- Minimum five years of experience in the financial services industry (fund management, fund administration or insurance business preferred)
- Experience in investor onboarding, including exposure to AML/CFT regulations
- Experience in trade operations, including trade settlements and FX
- Experience in investment monitoring and interpretation of investment restrictions and guidelines
- Working history with clients and professional counterparties
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Proficient in Excel and Word
