Channel Sales Manager SEA / Partner Executive

As a Partner Executive SEA you will be responsible for supporting and managing new and existing Channel Partners and building new business relationships with partners in the SEA market.In this role, you will be driving revenue in the SUSE market segments Business Critical Linux (BCL) and Enterprise Container Solutions (ECS) as well as developing the adoption of EDGE solutions. You are going to build close relationships with channel partners, enable them and create initiatives to maximize the result. You will support them at every stage of development but always be closely aligned with partner sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment, Management, Development, and Enablement of existing named SUSE partners in the channel market in both countries across the South-East-Asia region
- Drive SUSE revenue through assigned partners, aligning closely with partner managers and their sales / pre-sales teams Promote and drive marketing initiatives into assigned partner accounts,
- Effectively generating and managing leads with assigned partners, identification of new business opportunities with the partner for SUSE products
- Support SUSE Sales Team on partner-related sales activities to maximize revenue and market impact
- Demonstrating a good understanding of customers’ business needs and the ability to translate that in creating opportunities for SUSE Partners
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key partners
About You
- Strong experience in Channel/Partner sales in the IT industry
- Proven track record in building and maintaining a strong pipeline and delivering against sales targets
- Excellent knowledge of the local IT market
- Understanding of the Cloud Computing and Hosting Market / Managed Services will be highly regarded
- Experienced with various partner buying programs / routes-to-market
- Self-motivated and self-starter
- Team player with an excellent work ethic
- Willing to travel occasionally on business throughout the region and potentially internationally
