**About the role**:
We are looking for an implementation engineer for our APAC team, who will have a lead role to play in assessing complex customer environments and navigating the deployment of Cloud9's voice products. You'll work with both customer and C9 teams and have the opportunity to engage and support the design and architecture of network, telephony, and voice trading solutions as well as pre
- and post-deployment engineering support and troubleshooting. You will further be responsible for representing our customers interests, navigating these needs to the C9 Product team and ensuring our offerings meet all our customer's needs.

This is a role is for a passionate customer facing engineer and true technologist who thrives in pre and post sales support.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Assisting in pre-sales and post-sales implementation support
- Dealing with complex problem resolution and troubleshooting on-site and remotely to customers
- Working with the team in the design, architecture and implementation of complex voice network solutions
- Assessing and communicating on product issues internal to Cloud9 and back to customers
- Assisting and learning to support RFP process where appropriate
- Support international technical services on gateway rollout and network issues
- Provide high level, backup support to client services and technical support when, or wherever necessary
- Assist with customer lab setup and integration testing for Cloud9 products
- Also review and document customer network and firewall/web proxy setup as required for integration with Cloud9 services

**Your experience and background**:

- Professional experience within IT in implementation, networking, and technical support, this would suit a technical sales engineer or solution engineer with technical pre/post-sales experience
- The ability to effectively interact with Support, Development and DevOps colleagues
- Customer facing experience and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Technical troubleshooting capabilities with experience in and around networking, telephony, recording and UCC (Voice technologies and SBC etc)
- Trading Floor support experience. Specifically trader voice implementation and support would be desired
- Experience and knowledge in a cloud-based environment - ideal AWS or GCP but open to others

**As a bonus (although not required), it would be great if you had**:

- A networking certification
- How about VDI, Active Directory, MSI packaging and deployment.
- High level understanding of cloud delivered services, SaaS. and RESTful web services would be great
