The Procurement Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to the Procurement Department in ensuring a consistent supply of products at the right quality, prices, and time to meet customers’ orders. He/she will handle trade purchasing process, maintain suppliers’ relationships, product and import process (handle import declaration, liaise with freight forwarders/hauliers), claim process and documentation. Through his/her engagement with suppliers, he/she monitors and analyses prevailing product pricing and availability of products for serving customers’ needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
- Monitor daily usage and quality of incoming shipment of products
- Conduct checks on documentation required for trade transactions
- Liaise with suppliers on claims for products with quality issue
- Collaborate with operations and finance to facilitate payment process to suppliers
- Work with sales and procurement team in accomplishing duties as needed

**Job Specifications**
- Minimum Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or related fields
- Experience in import declaration
- Knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and procedures
- Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Good mathematical skills

Note: Applicants MUST be willing to work at Boon Lay area and 5.5 days with alternate Saturdays
