Senior Quality Inspector, Structure

2.1

Ensure the quality of the site installation is consistent with the company policy requirements

together with the approved drawings, with international standards and meeting applicable

project specifications.

2.2

Ensure the Subcontractor follows the current industrial standards, project requirements and

manufacturer recommendations,

where applicable for installation and its inspection

requirements during installation.

2.3

Works under general supervision and instructions from the supervisor as per established

procedures to perform varied tasks. Consult Inspector III or Lead Inspector or Quality

Coordinator on complex matters.

2.4

Reviews / Verifies / Approves QA/ QC Inspection and Testing reports submitted by fabricator

and also relevant ITs. Does punch list inspection and clears rectification of punches as

applicable in respective discipline.

2.5

Monitor day to day quality control activities and maintain effective coordination with the

respective construction team members to perform the necessary quality control activities.

2.6

Raise observation report / Non-conformance report / punch list when necessary for work not

meeting the applicable requirements and assist in resolving them.

Read understand and implement project related IT, Procedures, Specification requirements

Witnesses and approves tests conducted by fabricator as applicable.

2.8

Liaises, where required, with Certification Authority and client inspectors for acceptance of

work. Writes reports on inspection and surveillance duties.

2.9

Working knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, Classification and Certification. Ability

to work independently with minimum supervision. Commitment to take responsibility.

Structure/ Architectural

Performs, inspection on materials, fabrication, dimension control and welding work at

site as per applicable codes and specifications

Working Knowledge in Welding Inspection/Non
- Destructive Testing methods

Carry out / Witness dimension control checks on structure fabrication and installation.

Demonstrated experience in FPSOs, marine or onshore/offshore Oil & Gas industry.

Working knowledge of structural materials

Working knowledge of Classification society requirements.

2.13

Mechanical Inspector

Familiar with static and rotating equipment installations in FPSOs.

Working Knowledge in Welding Inspection/Non
- Destructive Testing methods

Demonstrated experience in Receipt, Storage, Installation, Alignment & Preservation of

mechanical equipment installations in FPSs or onshore/offshore Oil & Gas industry.

Familiarity with NR-13 inspection requirements

Working knowledge of equipment functions

2.14

Piping Inspector

Performs, inspection on materials, fabrication and welding work at site as per applicable

codes and specifications

Working Knowledge in Welding Inspection/Non
- Destructive Testing methods

Carry out / Witness dimension control checks, line checks, hydrostatic testing,

reinstatement, Flange management & Piping Preservation checks on piping fabrication

and installation.

Demonstrated experience in FPSOs, marine or onshore/offshore Oil & Gas industry.

Working knowledge of materials

2.15

Coating Inspector

Performs inspection on blasting and coating at site as per applicable codes and

specifications

Working Knowledge in coating standards such as NACE, NORSOK etc. Familiar in paint

Carry out / Witness coating thickness checks, holiday checks, adhesion testing etc on

coating

Demonstrated experience in FPSOs, marine or onshore/offshore Oil & Gas industry.

2.16

E&I Inspector

Performs Inspection of Electrical & Instrument work at site as per applicable standards

and specifications

Knowledge of cables, E&l equipment and their installation

Knowledge of hazardous areas and Hazardous Area (Ex-proof) equipment and their

installation

Familiarity with Permit-To-Work, Livening Up, Lock Out - Tag Out, etc processes related

to Commissioning activity.
