Structural Inspector

Reporting to the Site QC Coordinator, Inspects Structures to ascertain structural soundness, safety, and compliance with regulations and Project Specifications and Codes. A construction inspector conducts inspections during the projects.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Site QC Coordinator The.
- Assist with inspection of completed works,
- Direct Inspectors and ensure performance;
- Observe site safety procedures;
- Give practical advise on constructional matters;
- Assist in or measure work done when required;
- Inspects site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works; Assist in preparation of “as-built” drawings;
- Inspect construction, including temporary, works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements; Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
- NDE records/reports,
- Dimensional inspection records, Material Receipt Inspection,
- Fit-up Inspection,
- Weld monitoring for welding procedure specifications(WPS) applied, welder or welding operator assigned and material identification of consumable according to WPS,
- Visual inspection (VT) of weld joint,
- Non-destructive examination (NDE) of welds (RT/UT/MT/PT) including RT film review, where RT: radiographic examination, UT: ultrasonic examination, MT: magnetic particle examination, PT: dye penetrant examination,
- Dimensional inspection of pre-fabricated pipe spools,
- Painting inspection,
- Final inspection or the support of final inspection conducted during DR-F meeting at manufacturer by company,
- Packing inspection and the support of shipping release by company.
