**Job Summary**

The Senior QA/QC Inspector shall have Turnaround/Shutdown experience in Petrochemical industry and shall ensure that the Contractor Inspectors control the quality at shop and site works. He shall monitor the fabrication works with stringent implementation of quality plan/ITP, according to standards/codes in the inspection process, inspecting quality record deliverables and reporting nonconformity.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that work is implemented in accordance with Project Specific Quality requirements.
- Adhere to Quality Audit Schedules and perform audits as planned.
- Responsible for verification of in process inspection, final inspection and welding.
- Monitoring of weld procedures (WPS, PQR) and welder qualification testing.
- Verifying dimensions, welder's certifications material certification and traceability for all materials and consumables being used in construction.
- Monitor the weld preparation and welding process / NDE and ongoing compilation of weld records.
- Review Radiographic Film, NDE reports and endorse accordingly
- Manage nonconformances, follow-up and propose solutions for recommendation to Project Manager or Construction Superintendent.
- Manage subcontractors, vendor, fabricators and client quality issues.
- Develop and issue quality deliverables as required.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to people of all levels

**Education and Experience**
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Min 7-10 years of working experience preferably in Oil and Gas in Engineering Inspection, testing, equipment and material
- Qualification (ASNT Level 2, CSWIP 3.1, ERS or equivalent) in NDT techniques an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of International Codes and Standards (ASME, AWS, ASTM, API)
- Knowledgeable with Oil & Gas or petrochemical steel structural and steel piping fabrication procedures and welding inspection.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 Management system
