We are seeking a dedicated **Executive/Senior Executive, Referral and Admissions Unit** (RAU) to join our team.
In this role, you will facilitate timely admissions, monitor referral trends, and collaborate with various service units to optimize elder placement. You will also provide guidance to the team, review policies, and drive process improvements to meet organizational goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- To provide leadership in RAU by facilitating timely admissions into SLEC’s services and monitoring the referral numbers weekly and reporting to RO.
- Assist in training and guiding new and junior staff in the referral process.
- Guide the team on the referral process to the right cite elders to appropriate care service.
- To help to review relevant policies and procedures and update when necessary.
- Monitor the overall referral admission rate and ensure the team to meet the organisation goal.
- Ensure that referrals are reviewed and followed through on a timely basis
- Identify bottlenecks and inform various service unit heads for troubleshooting and facilitate an efficient referral process
- Manage the cooperation process with different stakeholders and ensure the team meets the required timeline.
- Track admission turnover rates above the required benchmarks and inform the relevant service units when opening new referral/assessment slots.
- To supervise the RAU team to work with various departments and review the referral process regularly to ensure the referral can be admitted in time.
- To interpret referral & admission trends and client needs to conduct the necessary internal transfers to other business units or engage the expertise of other services.
- To be the point of contact with other services’ stakeholders for coordinating the referral process
- To support the RAU team in all administration and documentation activities required during the referral to admission process to ensure a seamless admission for elders into services.
**Job Requirements**
- Minimum Diploma, preferably in a healthcare-related discipline.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and dashboard solutions is an advantage.
- Familiarity with billing processes and client/beneficiary fee management.
- At least one year of experience managing a team.
- Experience in referral-to-admission processes within the healthcare or ILTC sector is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with patient/client management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
