Payroll Outputs and Compliance Transformation Lead

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Accounting, Employment Tax, and Risk/Compliance principles
- Experience with payroll process redesign and payroll operations for a global organization

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with Payroll operations and compliance requirements in Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, or the Philippines
- Experience with SAP implementations, including design and implementation
- Experience migrating critical processes to new vendor providers
- Project management experience and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively, be diplomatic and influence stakeholders, vendors, and international teams
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

**About the job**:
The Finance Operations team manages Google's cash transactions on a global basis and ensures that Google's incoming and outgoing cash processes are controlled, effective and efficient. As a member of this team, you'll find innovative ways to manage our complex set of transactions. You'll make processes more efficient and scalable, work to ensure the highest level of quality of our operations, and proactively minimize operational risk. Externally, you collaborate with our extended workforce partners and internally, you will collaborate across the multiple areas of the Financial Operations team.

In this role, you’ll be a key member of Payroll’s transformation program, working to ensure the delivery of a complex multi-year program dedicated to transforming international payroll operations. You will be responsible for the management of the outputs work stream, covering accounting, reporting, and compliance. You will work across multiple areas and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

**Responsibilities**:

- Overall leader of design and deployment for the accounting, reporting and compliance processes for payroll transformation.
- Be responsible for defining and implementing outputs workflows to align with existing global solutions, tailored to meet country specific needs.
- Be responsible for program managing requirements from design through to cut-over and hypercare and driving alignment across the countries.
- Partner with cross-functional workstreams and stakeholders to ensure dependant business processes and systems will support the payroll solution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Be responsible for executing on plan deliverables and communicating risks and issues on a timely basis to the program management team.
