**Main function of the job**:
1. Responsible for delivering the highest level of customer service to all PML customers.

2. Responsible for developing robust customer relation (customer, insurance companies and

surveyors) based on integrity and trust.

3. Responsible for making out job sheets and orders.

4. Responsible for the flow of information from the customer to the workshop vice versa.

5. Responsible for inter-location jobs expeditiously to meet deadline.

6. Responsible for disseminating information of day to day activities to enhance the level of customer service.

**Detail responsibilities**:
1. Study vehicle repair history and ensure Workshop Manager and Senior Motor Claim Advisor are informed of any unusual or repeated complaint.

2. Write out, in-accordance with the individual vehicle diagnosis, individual work orders with the job item numbers, job specification and flat rate specifications.

3. Confirm with customer that our records of their personal particulars are correct. Update history file and GDMS if there is a change.

4. Conduct Vehicle Reception Check with reception checklist in the presence of customer for all cars brought in for body and paintwork repairs.

5. Advise customers of the best method to pursue their insurance claims from a few insurance claims option available.

6. Negotiate with surveyor / insurance companies to get the best labour charge.

7. Promote the sale of workshop capacity by offering special services.

8. Promote the sale of parts and accessories.

9. Verify job contents and check vehicle exterior body for dents, scratches in the presence of customer.

10. Prepare accurate accident repair estimate and provide supplementary estimate necessary.

11. Advise estimated repair cost for work to be done, ask for authorisation budget on additional job.

12. Obtain customer signature on work order and advise them on the accepted mode of payment

13. Add jobs with customer's approval or within customer agreed budget; key add jobs into GDMS and inform workshop foreman / workshop planner accordingly.

14. Communicate with workshop foreman on the repair status, observe promised deadline. Conduct final check on vehicle cleanliness, verify job completion after end control.

15. Inform customer that the vehicle is ready for collection, the repair cost and collection time.

16. Decide appropriate goodwill decision for request that falls under the normal frame work.

17. Refer to Workshop Manager and or Senior Motor Claim Advisor for assistance if help is required addressing the customer needs.

18. Personalise vehicle delivery after repair to the customer including explaining the repair invoice to customer; inform the customer of any outstanding matter, for instance jobs required to be done on next visit or parts on order if any.

19. Maintain the Body and Paint reception area neat and tidy.

**Job Requirements**:
NTC 2 in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or its equivalent

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Motor Claim Advisor with at least 1 year in surveyor position

Experience in motor trade or in Body and Paint department would be an added advantage

Possess Class 3 license

Literate in computer skills
