ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is seeking a Brand and Content Marketing Director, India to drive the development and delivery of impactful marketing and communication campaigns for Audible spanning advertising, PR, communications, brand and talent collaborations to deliver business objectives. You must be able to think strategically and act tactically and have incredibly high attention to detail. You must be recognized as an expert in communicating externally with customers to drive awareness, consideration, reaction and response, and internally with senior management and stakeholders to bring people with you and drive forward ideas.
As a Brand and Content Marketing Director, you will...
- Own India brand marketing for Audible offerings, partnering with global teams to ensure brand alignment and execution based on overall direction. Create plans that will be rolled out across all marketing channels, based on in-depth marketing research and customer insights. Building communication approaches that will be tested in the market to reach the best result.
- Own brand partnerships strategy to drive top of funnel awareness and deliver additional new customers to Audible.
- Oversee the team to plan and promote the local and global content slate in India. Maximize talent promotion through creation of promotional assets and dissemination over partner channels with a goal to grow awareness and engagement via earned media (social and PR).
- Work with existing creative and PR agencies to develop creative and effective plans for driving awareness of and engagement with our brand as well as trade messaging and engagement. Develop and manage PR campaigns to drive consumer awareness. Manage an external public relations agency on strategy and tactics.
- Manage external creative agencies as necessary. Manage development of artwork for content releases and assets for promotion of titles that may / may not involve talent imagery and marketing commitment.
- Work with international partners to deliver audience, service and content-related research. Also support on brand-tracking, UX/CX research and other streams defined in conjunction with the newly-created International Research team.
Basic Qualifications
- Extensive brand and content marketing experience
- Experience managing teams
- Direct experience of working on consumer brands in India
- Direct experience of delivering world-class creative campaigns, identity executions and activations
- Experience with large-scale campaigns, but also community and social-first thinking
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communicator and compelling storyteller
- Experience presenting to and motivating action by senior leaders
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams toward common goals. Highly collaborative, a great listener, and able to work across geographies with peers and executive teams in matrixed environments to drive action and results
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and executional level; ideate and directly execute
- Positive outlook, curious, desire to learn and grow and team player
- Brings a strong passion for Audible’s brand and products as a leader in the audio spoken word landscape
