**About The Role**:

FDM is looking for an Academy Team lead to help lead the training academy in Singapore. The role will predominantly involve overseeing the training team in Singapore, ensuring a smooth running of the academy. The team lead will also be responsible for meeting with Sales and other stakeholders to help resolve day to day issues. The new hire will also be training modules.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with Sales and other external departments and ensure Academy resources align with business expectations
- In collaboration with the Hong Kong Manager, ensure APAC schedules and courses are scheduled
- Mentoring and coaching junior members of the team
- Working with sales and recruitment to help resolve day-to-day issues
- Providing coaching and support to trainees and trainers
- Overseeing the hiring process and ensuring trainers are working to their required standards, with their developmental needs being met
- Helping to roll out new training courses
- Organising upskilling and training for trainers
- Delivering training modules effectively and to a high standard
- Creating a strong culture within the Singapore training team
- Any other ad hoc duties as required

**About You**:

- Educated to degree-level
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- 5+ years commercial experience in an IT role
- Experience in training
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in pushing back or compromising on requirements where necessary
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proactive approach to learning new technologies to broaden coverage of existing technical modules
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Be able to commute 3 days a week to work in the Singapore office
