15+ years of experience as Film or Television Producer/Production Executive or the equivalent with a focus on local Asian and International content.
- Ability to juggle multiple large scale projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding results.
- Direct leadership experience, having managed teams in the corporate or production space.
- A strong understanding of South East Asian motion picture industry custom and practice and an appreciation of the differences that exist in each territory.
- Extensive experience obtaining Asian production benefits, subsidies, tax credits and reclaiming VAT or similar taxes when applicable.
- A strong working knowledge of basic co-production and financial structures.
- Ability and availability to travel when required.

Amazon Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. Key job responsibilities
- Manage a team of production executives throughout SEA.
- Hire, train, supervise and set career growth plans for the team.
- Develop team goals, roadmap and strategy consistent with international leadership.
- Support the Amazon Studios Local Originals team to produce scripted content in the most economical and efficient manner with the highest production value by maximizing local and regional production benefits and subsidies.
- Work with other stakeholders throughout the company to support creation of policies and procedures that are scalable for utilization across multiple territories in SEA.
- Provide insights on local custom and practice, and government regulation, to assist with resolving problems with SEA productions.
- Provide oversight of the local original movie projects in development and production throughout South East Asia, and coordinate effectively between external partners and international leadership to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Collaborate with local executives in each territory along with producers, line producers, production managers to assess budgets, production plans, and schedules. Provide feedback to international leadership on production risks and/or options that can impact staying on budget and schedule.
- Work with all internal teams, both locally and in the U.S., including post operations, production finance, tax, legal and development.
- Travel throughout Asia when necessary to assist leadership with evaluation of work-flow, budgets and potential problems, and provide feedback.
- Provide support to local production executives with respect to the analysis of budgets and cost reports.
- Act as a liaison from producers to the Local Originals Studio team when required.
- Experience with local guilds and unions
- Multiple Asian language proficiency
- Experience working on international productions.

- Familiarity with Movie Magic Budgeting & Scheduling software.
- Ability to review budget and scheduling documentation produced by the above software.
