Summary of Role:
Global Fab Engineering Service (GFES) department is seeking for a motivated Engineering Manager. The individual selected for this position will be based in Singapore to build and lead a team of highly skilled engineers providing remote Fab Engineering services to the other GF fabs in US/Germany. This individual will work on the normal shift from Monday to Friday. Some travelling will be required.

Essential Responsibilities include:

- To manage and lead a group of Principal Engineers, Senior Engineers, Engineers and Associate Engineers to sustain and optimize process capability to meet respective module goals and achieve company objective
- Provide training and guidance to Engineers and Associate Engineers to achieve maximum performance effectiveness
- Supervisory, mentoring & coaching of engineers
- Evaluates engineer's work performance, identifies strengths and weaknesses, offers feedback, and sets goals for future performance
- Work with Fabs to understand engineering resource needs
- Serve as the module focal point for our GFES Singapore Hub US/Germany team
- Budget and Finance planning for the department
- Coordination and planning of Business travels for Engineers
- Lead weekly meetings and provide monthly updates

Other Responsibilities:

- Work with Mobility Team to setup US Work/Travel Policies
- Centralize global functions in GFES Singapore Hub
- Develop strategies to meet and surpass manufacturing performance indices and help reduce cost of Global Fab Operations leveraging GFES Singapore Hub
- Coordinate and deploy Engineers to US/Germany Fabs

Required Qualifications:

- PhD/Master/Degree in Chemical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics Engineering or other relevant discipline
- At least 8-10 years working experience in sub-micron wafer fab industry
- Fluent in English
- 5-10% travel may be required
- Good analytical & problem solving skills
- Strong Leadership qualities

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners
- Self motivated, meticulous, and disciplined
- Good coaching and mentorship skill
- Project Management experience
