About the Team
- To manage tax compliance: Responsible in ensuring the company's payroll and benefits comply with all applicable tax laws and regulations related to e.g. employment taxes, including income tax, payroll tax, and social security tax;
- To lead and conduct tax research: To carry out tax research and keeping payroll and benefit teams up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations related to employment taxes;
- To lead and manage tax audits: To lead and manage tax audits related to employment taxes, working with internal and external auditors as needed to ensure the company's compliance with tax laws and regulations;
- To provide tax advice: To provide tax advice and updates to the payroll and benefit leadership team and team members on matters related to employment taxes;
- To manage relationships with external stakeholders: To manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as tax authorities and other regulatory bodies, as needed to ensure the company's compliance with tax laws and regulations;
- To manage internal stakeholder relationships: Responsible for managing relationships with internal stakeholders, e.g. Finance, legal and HRBP, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on matters related to employment taxes.
- Bachelor degree or above;
- Proven track records with minimum of 8-12 years in regional employment tax and compliance experience and exposure;
- Possess solid employment tax and other statutory knowledge of APAC region;
- Solid payroll and benefit statutory advisory and solutioning knowledge;
- Preferably with in-depth knowledge of payroll operation and project execution;
- Strong influence and stakeholder management skills;
- Proven track records in working with a fast-paced and high demand environment;
- Proven experience in building the entire payroll and benefit compliance areas independently;
- Confident in his/her articulation and presentation when working with cross teams;
- English as work language, preferably with an added language, to be able to support stakeholders based overseas.
