SGInnovate is looking for a Marketing Executive to join us as we sustain the development of Singapore’s deep tech innovation ecosystem - comprising startups, investors, corporates, researchers, government and international partners in Artificial Intelligence, Medical Technologies, Autonomous Vehicles, Quantum Technologies, etc. across key industries - Advanced Manufacturing, AgriFood, Health and Biomedical Sciences, Urban Solutions and Sustainability, etc.
As an Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be involved in event logistics and management, event marketing, administrative tasks, as well as basic level of creative asset development, among others. You will be able to learn not only business skills such as project management, marketing automation, communications with partners, but also better understand the exciting innovation economy in Singapore and beyond.
**Responsibilities**:
**Event management and marketing**:
- Planning & coordination of logistics and project management from pre-event through post-event with various parties including event partners, vendors, designers, etc. to ensure smooth implementation of both physical and virtual events.
- Setup and testing of pre-event facilities, including venue, AV preparations, webinar functions, dry run rehearsals, and technical management, etc.
- Marketing of events, and workshops: development of pre
- and post-event EDMs, including basic layout of banners or liaison with outsourced designers, sending of EDMs via Hubspot, registration and attendees management
- Edit and upload of event videos for posting on social media channels
- Development of photo and video assets from our activities, for marketing purpose
**Administrative matters**:
- Preparation of monthly marketing reports such as event registration and attendance numbers, database tracking, website traffic, etc.
- Administrative duties such as preparing procurement memos and budget tracking
**Market research and other duties**:
- Some level of web research may be required from time to time
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
- Has a Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Design or Event Management related disciplines
- Some experience is preferred but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Possesses excellent communication and written skills
- Is highly organized and meticulous in follow up. Able to plan and manage timelines across multiple projects
- Enjoys some creative work and comfortable with editing banners and video clips
- Able to use Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator or similar editing software
