**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare thoroughly for service jobs by coordinating with service coordination and logistics to collect appropriate equipment / spare parts required for the job
- Execute service jobs as assigned by the technical service manager
- Provide repair and maintenance of navigation and communication equipment on customer vessels pertaining to service calls in an efficient and timely manner, according to customers’ requirements
- Write service report for each service job as per Radio Holland standards, regarding repair work, man-hours, spares (if any), securing approval from the customers and then submitting the report to the Supervisor for verification
- Indicate necessity of follow-up repair in consultation with service coordinator / technical service manager
- Provide technical support to customers and the company’s sales and service agents.
- Promote and seek the sales of company products and services during contact with customers.
- Maintain tools and machinery, used for the execution of service jobs, in a safe and proper manner

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Diploma / Technical Certificate in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
- At least 3 years hands-on experience in marine electronics industry (radio equipment preferred)
- Certified/trained by leading Navigation and Communications manufactures to perform at least Voyage Data Recorder - Annual Performance Tests (VDR APT’s), gyro overhauls and magnetron replacements
- Qualified Radio Surveyor
- Able to write service reports
- Good interaction and communication skills
- Strong oral and written communication abilities in English
- Be professional, and positive with an attitude that demonstrates responsibility
- Demonstrates and applies strong problem-solving skills in day to day operations
- Comprehend current and emerging technologies
- Have good 'people skills' for building relationships with colleagues and customers
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- IT savvy
- Willing to work ad-hoc hour
- Willing to travel abroad if required
