The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. **About the Team**:
- We're in search of dynamic and highly motivated individuals to join our Shopee SPX Team as Operational Excellence Associates and Leads. As part of the Operational Excellence team, you'll play a pivotal role in optimising and streamlining our logistics processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. You will be posted to one of Shopee’s Southeast Asian markets for 9-12 months to work on strategic operational projects and to gain a deep understanding of local markets, before returning to HQ (Singapore).This role presents an excellent opportunity for ambitious early career professionals to deepen your problem-solving abilities by tackling some of the most complex challenges in the e-Commerce industry and flex their analytical skills in a dynamic, data-driven working setting. We offer a collaborative and friendly environment with opportunities for ownership and professional growth.- Process Optimisation and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse and optimise logistics processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operational workflows and design work plans for pragmatic implementation
- Data Analysis: Utilise Python and SQL to extract, transform, and analyse data, providing insights to drive informed decision-making
- Ground Operations Improvement: Take a hands-on approach, willing to get your hands dirty, to identify, propose, and implement improvements in ground operations for a more streamlined and effective workflow
- Project management: Design initiatives, track timelines, and assess impacts. Resolve issues effectively to ensure the successful execution of projects
**Requirements**:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Willingness to travel: You will be posted to one of Shopee’s overseas markets in Southeast asia, including Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and/or Vietnam for 9-12 months
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and reporting
- Curiosity and Passion: Exhibit curiosity, passionate to understand the whys, and dedicated to solving problems and creating impact
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Hands-On Approach: Willing to get your hands dirty and work with ground ops, to implement improvements. Some travel will be required
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in operational processes
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a agile and dynamic work environment
