The Challenges

You will provide strategic direction and focus on Intra-Asia product development and procurement of b oth FCL and LCL products through r ate negotiation with Ocean Carriers, Capacity Management and Product Development on key trade lanes
You will manage relationships with Carriers to support the local, regional and global strategy
Coordination with local sea freight teams on carrier contacts
You will provide subbect matter expertise in product design, promotion, and training, in cooperation with the global and local management team
By working closely with the sales team, you will be visiting clients on demand to provide RFQ support, Market information service and joining regional and global meetings
You will also provide commercial insights on pricing and margin monitoring
What It Takes

You should have min. 5 years of experience in Asian Sea Freight Procurement and Product Management
Having global exposure is an advantage
Good network and rapport with carrier contacts
Exceptional verbal and written communication and people skills
Ability and willingness to travel (locally and regionally)
