A Kind Place is a psychological private practice with a group of clinicians, coaches, and trainers. Our small team keeps us close and everyone is very friendly. We believe in empowering our employees to learn more and get hands-on experience with things that they might want to learn or try.Our special needs trainer will be responsible for delivering classroom lessons to special needs clients.

You will work closely with each client to ensure that their goal is attained in a optimal functioning way, and that they develop necessary competent skillsets through the entire course program. You are responsible to ensure that clients are able to meet their learning goals to improve their quality of life (physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs).

**Requirements**:
This role is suitable for you, if you are currently a student undergoing your Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Counselling, Special Education, etc), or an individual, housemaker, mid-career switcher or caregiver, who has the relevant special needs experience.

This job is temporary and is on a part-time basis. Commitment varies from 1 - 5 hours a day.

1-2 years of experience working with trainers and adults with intellectual disabilities is required.

We value employees who take initiative, are punctual, responsible, and take pride in their work. The work period is from July - February.
