Specific Job Summary

As a key member of the Business Segment Executive team, the Regional Director, Resort Operations will report to VP Market Operations & Asset Management APEME, and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company, leading the Resort Operations functions for the Asia Pacific Segment at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW). The Regional Director Resort Operations has the responsibility to ensure that the regional structure for Resort Operations is optimized to provide the requisite support for unforgettable vacation experiences and consistent delivery of operational business plans and brand standards. (QA, BSLs).

This position will provide technical and business knowledge relative to resort management to plan and implement processes and procedures that will meet or exceed the stakeholder needs and expectations on multiple regional projects. This leader will have accountability to the Guest Satisfaction Survey (GSS), Engagement Survey (ES), Brand Standard Audit (BSA) and other related operational metrics.

As Regional Director Resort Operations, this leader must understand the goals of all regional stakeholders and develop partnering relationships with Sales & Marketing, IPSM, Member Services and Asset Management that will enable mutual success. This leadership role has responsibility for supporting and assisting sites in the management of the vacation experience, quality assurance and Committee relationships by providing resources for day to day operational execution, data analysis and addressing basic service level issues by VP Market Operations & Asset Management APEME leverage knowledge and experience in areas needed.

The Regional Director Resort Operations represents resort operations in the management and coordination of project delivery to include, but not limited to, new site feasibility and build-out/turn-over, while complying with MVC brand standards, policies and procedures. This role has single point authority and responsibility to the Regional Market Teams.
